Driven by our Saksham initiative, we help shape brighter futures for children and youth in the SOS Village family homes in Chennai, Jaipur and Bhubaneswar. The initiative is designed to support their holistic development by providing essential resources such as education, nutritious meals and healthcare.

Our commitment goes beyond these basics. We aim to help vulnerable children lead a meaningful and dignified life and provide a safe and nurturing family environment. It ensure access to quality education, healthcare and nutritious food while supporting their emotional well being and holistic development. We emphasize the development of life skills, promote sports and cultural activities and provide emotional support, helping these young individuals grow into well-rounded confident people. With Saksham, we aim to create lasting opportunities for children and youth to not only survive but thrive, equipping them with the tools and confidence to lead successful and fulfilling lives. We are focused on the comprehensive development of children and youth from four SOS Village family homes. We prioritize essential areas that shape their journey - education, nutritious food, healthcare and a stable family environment. Additionally, we encourage sports, foster cultural and social development and build general awareness to help them grow into confident, capable individuals with a strong sense of self and belonging.

In association with SOS Children’s Villages, we focus on empowering young individuals living in the SOS Village family homes by creating meaningful opportunities for higher education and skill development. Through our financial support, we help youth access professional and vocational programs that can shape their future, including engineering, hotel management, MBA, vocational training in banking and finance, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). These programs are carefully selected by SOS team to align with real-world industry needs, equipping young minds with the skills, confidence, and education required to build independent and dignified lives. Our aim is not just to support education, but to create a pathway to long-term self-reliance and personal growth, enabling youth to transition from care to career with a strong foundation and a sense of purpose.

In partnership with SOS Children’s Village, we proudly support SAKSHAM - a dedicated initiative focused on providing comprehensive care for underprivileged and destitute children.

Supporting Family Homes

Through SOS Village family homes across Chennai, Jaipur, and Bhubaneswar, we ensure children of these family homes have a safe and nurturing environment to thrive, dream, and grow. We cover the following essential activities to support children in our family homes:

  • Holistic Education & Career Growth: Covering school fees, books, stationery, and hostel expenses to foster academic excellence and career opportunities.
  • Health & Well-being: Providing preventive care and psychological support to prioritise the children’s physical and emotional health.
  • Nutrition & Essentials: Ensuring steady food allowances, clothing, uniforms, and toiletries to meet children’s daily needs.
  • Family Support & Growth: Offering festival allowances, daily expenses, and empowering SOS mothers with regular training and workshops.
  • Ongoing Monitoring & Guidance: Developing personalised child development plans and providing regular counselling for both children and mothers.

School Sanitation & Infrastructure Improvement Initiative

As part of our Saksham CSR initiative, EIH Associated Hotels is supporting the holistic development of a school in Jaipur, with a focused commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure and creating a healthier learning environment for students.

Our assessment revealed that the existing washroom facilities were in severely deteriorated condition, compromised by poor hygiene, non-functional fixtures, and inadequate maintenance. Recognizing that safe and dignified sanitation is crucial for students well-being, especially for girls, a comprehensive restoration plan had been implemented.

The initiative included structural repairs, upgraded plumbing, new tiling, installation of functional fixtures, and measures to ensure sustained cleanliness and long-term usability. Through these improvements, we aim to provide students with a clean, safe, and supportive school environment that enables better attendance, comfort, and confidence.
