We also take care of their nutrition and daily essentials by providing food allowances, clothing, uniforms, and toiletries. To foster a sense of belonging and continuity, we offer family support through festival allowances, daily expenses, and by empowering SOS mothers with ongoing training and workshops. Each child’s journey is closely guided with personalised development plans, regular counselling, and constant support for both children and their caregivers.

Building Stronger & Self-Reliant Families

Together with SOS Children’s Villages, EIH Limited is nurturing stronger communities through the Family Strengthening Programme, offering vital financial support, resources, and growth opportunities to families in need.

Family Strengthening Programme

Family Strengthening Programme

Family Strengthening Programme has been a driving force behind the transformation and upliftment of families in the community. One such family was identified for support through an Income Generating Activity (IGA), leading to the sponsorship of a cow that became the foundation of their entrepreneurial journey. The family began generating income by selling milk and manure, gradually expanding their livestock with the purchase of additional cows. Today, they own 17 cows and buffaloes (excluding calves), along with a cowshed and a godown to store cattle feed. The support extended far beyond financial aid; it instilled a strong entrepreneurial spirit and opened doors to subsidised livestock, access to bank accounts, and credit facilities. The family's progress reflects not just economic stability but also environmental awareness through tree plantation drives and improved water access. The growth and resilience they’ve achieved highlight the meaningful and lasting impact of the Family Strengthening Programme.
